Natalie Goldberg is the author of 15 books, including the classic Writing Down the Bones, which has sold more than 2 million copies and been translated into 20 languages. Among her other books are the memoirs Long Quiet Highway: Waking Up in America and Let the Whole Thundering World Come Home, the novel Banana Rose, her legacy book The True Secret of Writing, and, most recently, Three Simple Lines, a writer’s pilgrimage into the heart and homeland of haiku. She has taught writing as a Zen practice for the past 45 years nationally and internationally. She lives in Northern New Mexico.
