Libraries

The tradition of reading and research flourishes in Santa Fe, where an abundance of libraries large and small serve the diverse interests of the city’s bookworms. The Santa Fe Public Library operates various branches across town every day from Tuesday through Saturday. The historic reading room in the downtown branch shouldn’t be missed. Many of the city’s museums and educational institutions also include little-known jewels, with space to engage in specialized book and archival research by appointment.
