The Grandeur of Opera will be on full display at the Bond House Museum in Española this summer, thanks to artifacts on loan from the Santa Fe Opera.

The Bond House Museum’s exhibition includes costumes from principal performers in The Golden Cockerel (2017), The Lord of Cries (2021), and La Finta Giardiniera (2015), and a special set piece featured in last season’s Carmen.

The exhibit was made possible by a collaboration between the San Gabriel Historical Society and the Española Valley Opera Guild.

The Grandeur of Opera will kick off with a Grand Opening reception at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, and will be on display through the end of August. — S.F.
